Experian is the first Credit Reporting Agency (CRA) in Malaysia to achieve International ISO27001:2013 certification in January 2017, and international standard, an accreditation for Information Security Management System (ISMS).
Whilst, Experian’s business is in the provision of credit reporting business, credit bureau, and information services and solutions. The International ISO27001:2013 standard confirms that Experian’s information security management system meets ISO’s exacting specification and that all information is secured and managed to the highest standards.
The award confirms that our rigorous approach to information management, security and compliance is based on the latest best practices, controls and industry standards, and it underlines our status as the Malaysia’s Leading & Most Trusted Credit Bureau.
Experian is prepared to provide requirements for establishing, implementing, maintaining and continually practice and improving information security management system. This certification means Experian has achieved a level of security certification that is recognised globally and is the only CRA to do so.
